adequate for what is. Lightweight and portable. quiet with good extra warmth. I have a huge bathroom and this fits into a corner away from the water to increase the heating installed. How not to have a remote?? YAY!!! One less thing to keep track of and less smelly clothes that require batteries. I recommend tired of keeping up with batteries and all their multiple formats. they are the toxic environment. There is nothing green on any battery,
